LOGGING YOUR ASCENTS
As a registered user you can log your ascent for each route in the database. To
log an ascent click the round + symbol next to the route and select your ascent type
based on the definitions below.
ONSIGHT
A clean ascent, with no prior practice or beta while placing protection on a lead
climb.
FLASH
To successfully and cleanly complete a climbing route on the first attempt after
having received beta of some form while placing protection on a lead climb.
REDPOINT
To complete while placing protection on a lead climb after making previous unsuccessful
attempts, done without falling or resting on the rope (hangdogging)
TOP-ROPE
To complete while belaying from a fixed anchor point above the climb with or without
making previous unsuccessful attempts, done without falling or resting on the rope.
POINTS FOR COMPLETED ASCENTS
When you have completed a route a score will be calculated for the ascent in accordance
with the table below.
MY CLIMBING SCORE
Navigating to the menu 'My Ascents' will show you a calculated average Climbing
Score. The score is the average of your top 10 highest scoring completed ascents.
If you have climbed less than 10 ascents the average will be of the actual number
of completed ascents.
